LTA Affiliates
The LTA Affiliates are a team of staff recruited annually from the schools and faculties across the University. The affiliates provide vital insight, advice and support to the Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA) team and to their own colleagues throughout the academic year. The LTA Affiliates help the LTA Team to connect with the faculties, schools and staff across TU Dublin, enabling the work of the LTA Team to respond to the needs of staff in the University.
Throughout the academic year, each LTA Affiliate will:
- Advise and provide insights to the LTA team based on your experiences as a lecturer in TU Dublin.
- Participate in at least two (of four) LTA Affiliates fora (these fora will address specific learning, teaching & assessment challenges in a structured, interactive manner with the intention of co-creating solutions that may inform practice across the University).
- Showcase their own work through either a case study or video vignette, which will be promoted on the LTA website.
- Support and assist at one or more of the events organised by the LTA team. This includes workshops, webinars and the LTA Showcase.
- Encourage colleagues and others in their own network to engage with activities organised in the University to enhance learning, teaching and assessment.
- Attend and contribute to LTA Affiliate meet-ups throughout the year (in-person or online).
