TY TrailblazHER™ Awards 2025-2026
The TY TrailblazHER™ Awards return for their second year and they are bigger than ever before. This year, we're expanding our celebration of student achievements with 9 award categories, offering even more opportunities to recognise the incredible female students in Transition Year (TY) making waves across Ireland.
We believe that success comes in countless forms, and our mission is to encourage every student to pursue their unique passions and make their mark on the world.
From the classroom to the community, from the stage to the sports field – we're here to shine a spotlight on the trailblazers who are already changing the world, one achievement at a time.

- Community Hero of the Year
- Artists of the Year
- Leader of the Year
- STEM Innovator of the Year
- Entrepreneur of the Year
- Wellness Ambassador of the Year
- Phoenix of the Year
- TY TrailblazHER of the Year

How To Nominate
We accept nominations from any school staff member or relevant community organisations (sport's club, arts club, music teacher...) the student might be part of. There’s no limit to how many students you can nominate, but you’ll need to complete a nomination for each student you put forward. Please note, multiple nominations for the same person in the same category will not increase their chances of winning and only one nomination will be considered.
Nominations will close on Friday 13th February 2026.
