SDG Week 2026

Published: Wednesday 16 September 2026 - 13:19

As part of SDG Week Ireland 2026 (18-27 September), TU Dublin is hosting a series of events that connect students, staff, community partners and the wider public with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through community engagement, sustainability education, innovation programmes and student-led environmental action, these events showcase how local action can contribute to global sustainable development.

The programme reflects TU Dublin's ambition to be a beacon for sustainability, embedding the SDGs across teaching, research, campus operations and community partnerships. By fostering collaboration with organisations such as Global Action Plan (GAP) Ireland, South Dublin City Partnership, the Centre for Entrepreneurial Behaviour, Inclusion and Innovation (CEBII), and empowering students through Green-Campus initiatives, TU Dublin demonstrates how higher education can help build a more sustainable, equitable and resilient future for all.
