Research Underpinning the Programme
- Dr. Kenny’s research interests include Translation Pedagogy, Group Learning, and Online Teaching.
- Her work investigates how task design and online environments influence student interaction and collaboration in translation exercises.

- First International Language Conference at NUI Galway (2010) on using multimedia and ICTs to enhance learning.
- EUROCALL Conference, University of Vienna (2004) on collaborative learning in an online translation classroom.
- Dr. Kenny's teaching focuses on German Language, Literature, Culture, Film, Society, Communications, and English as a Foreign Language.
- She has supervised Master’s-level theses in Language Education (German/French), particularly on the use of educational technology in primary school language classrooms.
- She was a former recipient of the TU Dublin Kaizan Scholarship, SIF2 funding, and won the European Language Label for innovative uses of technology in language education.
