Qualifications
- MA in Intercultural Studies from Dublin City University (2009–2010)
- Focus: Sociology, psychology, anthropology, philosophy, cultural studies, communications, language, international relations.
- M.Phil. in Applied Linguistics from Trinity College Dublin (2001–2002)
- Areas studied: Syntax, semantics, phonetics, discourse analysis, morphology, lexicology, child language acquisition, sociolinguistics.
- Dissertation: Pedagogical experiment on motivation supervised by Professor David Little.
- Maitrise in French as a Foreign Language from Université Stendhal, Grenoble (1992–1993)
- Focus: Textual analysis, sociolinguistics, pedagogical grammar, literature, and arts.
- Masters in English Linguistics and BA in Linguistics from Université Antonio Machado/Le Mirail, Toulouse (1989–1992)
- Focus: English, Spanish, German, French Literature, and Philosophy.
Research Underpinning the Programme
- Nathalie Cazaux’s research interests include French for Business, Technology in Language Learning, Gamification, Intercultural Relationships, and Universal Design for Learning.
- She is particularly focused on how technology enhances language learning, improves student motivation, and facilitates the integration of diverse student cohorts.
- Her intercultural studies research focuses on intercultural relationships in the workplace and community settings.

- Nathalie has collaborated on multiple innovative projects, including:
- French Grammar Tour: Developed with Dr. Helen Williams, Dr. Eamon Maher, and Odette Gabaudan, with support from the French Embassy and the Institut Francais.

- TUDublin Game Jam: Organizes annual events where students create language learning games in 60 hours.
