- In 2022, Susan commenced a qualitative research study, as a PhD candidate at TU Dublin focusing on corporate governance.

- Susan draws on her industry experience to bring subject matter alive for students.
- Susan is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Institute of Directors, Ireland.
- Susan is also engaged with the local community, volunteering on a number of not-for-profit boards and committees.
She creates an engaging and inclusive learning environment for individuals and groups that supports academic achievement and personal development.
