Dr. Anh Duong Trinh (Senja) is a Lecturer in Computer Science at the School of Informatics & Cybersecurity, Technological University Dublin. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality education in various advanced computing disciplines and researching the advancement of AI technologies.

Academic Background
Dr. Anh Duong Trinh obtained his PhD in Computer Science at Technological University Dublin, Ireland, in 2023. Before TU Dublin, he acquired MSc and BSc degrees in Computer Science and Technology at Tomsk Polytechnic University, Russia.

During his lecturing time at TU Dublin, he successfully completed qualifications in university teaching and research supervision: (1) Postgraduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching, 2026; (2) Licence to Supervise Research Degrees, 2025.

Prior to joining TU Dublin, he completed a postdoctoral training in Conversational AI System Assessment at ADAPT Research Centre, Trinity College Dublin. He also held the position of Programme Director for MSc in AI and MSc in AI for Business programmes at National College of Ireland.

Research Interests
Dr. Anh Duong Trinh is currently an active member of the Human Language Technology (HLT) research group, based in the School of Informatics and Cybersecurity, TU Dublin Blanchardstown Campus. His primary research interests following PhD and postdoctoral training lie in the areas of Human-Machine Interactions (HMI); Conversational AI Systems; Natural Language Processing (NLP); and Data Analytics.

His research involvements have recently expanded to the areas of Health Informatics and Cybersecurity through multiple research projects and supervision. Health Informatics projects involve Time-Series Analysis, Brain-Signal Interpretation, and Neuroengineering. On the other hand, Cybersecurity projects involve Malware Analysis, ML Techniques for Cyber Mitigation, and Cybersecurity Awareness Training.
