Mathematics student placement series: 4
The fourth in our short series highlights the work placements of Rebecca Hayden Carroll, Emma McDermott, and Eoghan O'Briain at Deciphex. The experience of working with this leading company whilst completing their mathematics degree in the School of Mathematics & Statistics is ideal job preparation.
Deciphex is leading the way in AI empowered medical pathology and is offering a variety of opportunities and projects to our year 3 students. Rebecca is working with the Generative AI team, Emma is working with the Product team and Eoghan is working with the Logistics team. Thus, our students are helping deliver cutting-edge clinical pathology services in a fast-paced working environment, and they're all doing extremely well and making a positive impact! Their work will benefit patients all around the world.
We would like to sincerely thank their managers, Sean Carmody, Ciara Durnin White (not in the picture), and Matias Cicero, for giving our students this fantastic opportunity, one of the wide range of work experience available to all our students studying the our full-time undergraduate programme, TU874 BSc Mathematical & Statistics.
