Pasta Bridge Competition 2022
Roughan & O'Donovan sponsor the annual ‘Pasta Bridge’ competition for Third Year Civil and Structural Engineering students at TU Dublin with Mr Joe Kelly presenting the winning groups with their prizes.
The competition is a fun and engaging way for students to test their engineering skills while also demonstrating their planning, creativity, problem-solving and team-working skills in order to design and build a bridge using only spaghetti pasta and hot glue guns.
1st Place Overall: Kevin Farnan, Vj Marzan, Keelan Mc Cormack, Fatima Naser, Éile Smith.
Runner-Up Civil Engineering: Habiba Belkhatir, James Cullen, Jamie Daly, Michael Kenny, Muhammad Muasher Rizwanuddin.
Runner-Up Structural Engineering: Rian Knox, Daniel Shaw, Zaman Afzal.
