Plaster representations of artisan figures decorate the hallway and corridors of this ornate building. The figures are casts from John Henry Foley's models for figures at the base of the Albert Memorial on Leinster Lawn.
The Boomtown Rats' first-ever gig took place in this building on 31st October 1975. Bob Geldof and Pete Briquette, two of the founding band members who performed at that gig 50 years ago, returned to the place of the birth of The Boomtown Rats to unveil a commemorative plaque on the front of this historic building
