This scheme assists full-time students who must travel as part of their academic programme.  The trip must be compulsory, and the amount awarded is based on the level of parental/student income and is subject to funding availability.

Applications are now closed for Compulsory Travel Scheme for 2023/24. Applications will open for academic year 2024/25 in November.

Erasmus Students are not eligible to apply for this scheme.

Application Forms and ALL supporting documentation should be made online. The Online form will be available from the November 2023.  Please complete the Pre-SAF Eligibility Form in order to determine your eligibility for the SAF scheme.  Eligible students will receive a link to the online application form immediately.
