Our service offers:
- individual counselling
- group programmes, workshops and events throughout the year
We offer our services both online and face-to-face.
Common issues that bring students to counselling include:
- Stress or Anxiety
- Academic Difficulties
- Relationship Difficulties
- Depression or Mood Difficulties
- Grief or Bereavement
- Homesickness or Loneliness
- Identity Issues, including gender and sexuality
- Assault or Abuse
- Self-Harm
- Addiction or Substance Use
- Low Confidence or Self-Esteem
At any point in our lives, we may experience periods of feeling low or depressed. We can reach out for ways to cope that may not help.
If you find that you’re not coping with the demands of college and feel stressed and worried about life, don’t feel that you have to cope alone.
For support or assistance, make an appointment with your local counselling team who’ll be glad to help.
Counselling provides you with a safe, non-judgmental space to talk about and discuss any concerns you may have.
- Counselling is available in Irish as well as English. If you would like to speak to a counsellor in Irish, please email service@tudublin.ie. Tá comhairleoireacht le fáil as Gaeilge. Más maith leat caint le comhairleoir as Gaeilge, cuir r-phost chuig counselling.service@tudublin.ie, led' thoil.
