All students who would like to attend counselling with the TU Dublin Student Counselling Service can book a 30-minute assessment below. This assessment allows us to gain a sense of what is going on for you at the moment. During the assessment we will ask you what led you to attend student counselling and make a plan-of-action together as how to best support you. We offer our services both online and face-to-face – let us know what works best for you.

Filling in the Intake Form and Choosing Your Online Assessment Time

Assessment appointments are usually held online unless specifically requested to meet face to face. Following your assessment, if you are being referred to one-to-one counselling, you can discuss with your counsellor options for "In - Person"(Face to Face), or online counselling for any follow-on sessions.

Please click the following link to avail of these sessions:

Please note: Due to high demand on the service, we cannot accommodate specific time requests for your online assessment. We currently have a limited amount of appointments available via the link above. If there are any difficulties with the booking system, please email or phone 01 220 5249.

The link will ask you to select which campus you attend (Blanchardstown/Aungier street, Bolton street, Grangegorman/Tallaght). Please complete all three pages of our intake form. This form is completed easier via laptop than mobile phone. Please make sure you fill in all of the screens.

You can select the assessment date and time that suits you.
