A Geospatial Surveying Technician gathers, processes, and analyses spatial data to accurately represent the natural and built environment through the use of technologies such as GNSS, drones, laser scanners, GIS, and digital mapping software.
Their work includes conducting site surveys, creating maps and 3D models, setting out construction projects, managing geospatial databases, and providing accurate location information to engineers, architects, planners, and other professionals. They help organisations make informed decisions by turning real-world measurements into reliable digital information.
