Blended Working

The term blended working refers to working arrangements that involve a combination of working on-campus and working off-campus.

There are a few steps you can take to help set up for remote working:

Things to check before working from home

You have read the
You have the correct ICT (Information Communication Technology) equipment available. You can find a full list of equipment available to purchase through your school or department on Marketplace in Unit 4 ERP under Dell ERP.
Make sure your One drive and Teams files are syncing to Office 365. If your unsure of this you can log a call with Technology Services hereyo.
If required, make sure you have permission to access the TU Dublin VPN (Virtual Private Network) or remote services. You can find information on VPN here.
A reliable internet or broadband connection. For example, a decent quality Teams call requires an internet speed of 3 – 5 Mbps. You can check your internet connection at home here.
You have set up Multi-Factor Authentication. View further information.
Usernames and passwords. Check all the usernames and passwords for all applications you will be using from home and reset them if necessary. If an application uses “single sign on” this is your office 365 email password that can be reset anytime.
