Digital Education

Driving digital education at TU Dublin to deliver student-centered digital experiences that support success, engagement, and encourage lifelong learning.  

The Digital Education team promotes the thoughtful integration of digital pedagogies and supports our academic staff as they enhance their teaching, learning, and assessment practice through the implementation of institutionally approved inclusive digital tools and technologies. We champion accessibility in all modalities of digital education to provide equitable learning experiences.  We provide oversight and management of the implementation of TU Dublin’s Digital Education Policy. We develop interactive learning resources for staff to aid them as they develop their digital capabilities in line with the TU Dublin Digital Capabilities Framework for Those Who Teach, and facilitate both internal and national fora through which best practice in digital education can be shared, discussed and adopted. We trial and evaluate new technologies, platforms and approaches while researching outputs and experiences to inform the future direction of digital education at our university. We consider sustainability objectives in all of the work that we do.
