Andrew Ingredients Workshop

On Wednesday 11th March, Finbarr, Meabh and Rachel from Andrew Ingredients delivered a workshop to our 1st year TU 741 Baking & Pastry Arts Management students. Using ingredients from Braun,  they challenged the students to produce and present two cakes using different flavoured mousse. The result was an array of creative combinations including Strawberry Lemonade, Iced Caramel Mocha and Chocolate Pistachio.

It was a great opportunity for the students to work with Andrew Ingredients on new products and trends that are  currently being used currently in the industry. The class was split into two sessions, the winners of the morning session were Sean Hosford and Anna Purcell, while the afternoon winners were Sylvia Jose Da Silva, Yin Hu and Niamh Valenzuela.
