On Friday, 21st March, a truly remarkable event unfolded as TEDx returned to Dublin after seven years, and what a comeback it was — hosted right here at Technological University Dublin!

A massive congratulations to Eda Hadzhaoglu and Liam O’Connell, students on the Business and Management (TU903) degree programme at the TU Dublin School of Management, People and Organisations, who led the charge in making TEDxTUDublin: The Legacy of Now an unforgettable success.

From curating an inspiring lineup of thought leaders to creating a seamless event experience at the East Quad Concert Hall, their vision and leadership truly shone through.

A heartfelt thank you also goes out to Dr Roisin Donnelly, Dr. Patrick Kenny, and Bill O'Mahony, whose support and guidance were instrumental in helping Eda and Liam bring this ambitious project to life.

With topics ranging from AI and sustainability to motivation and empowerment, the evening was packed with insights that challenged us to think boldly about the present — and the legacy we're shaping for the future.

For those who couldn’t make it, the ideas sparked on the night are only gaining momentum — and this is just the start of an exciting journey ahead.
Here’s to more bold ideas, student-led innovation, and shaping the legacy of now.
