I joined the Chaplaincy Team at TU Dublin Aungier Street in October 2023 and currently job share with Andrew Somerville, working during the first half of the week.

My background spans South Africa, the UK, and Ireland, where I’ve worked in diverse school communities — from those facing significant disadvantage to those with considerable privilege.

After returning to study, I completed a second degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, which led me to this fulfilling role supporting university students.

As a parent of four adult children who’ve all experienced university life, I bring a personal understanding of the challenges and triumphs that come with being a student.

I see chaplaincy as a space where students can pause, reflect, and find support in whatever way they need. My aim is to empower students not only during their time at university but in life beyond it.
