CAO Points
CAO 1st round offers were issued on 27th August, 2025. Round 1 points are now available, see CAO Round 1 Points 2025.
If you have received an offer, you will now need to log in to your application to accept it.
Available Places
Places are still available on the courses listed below. Persons who meet the published minimum entry requirements may still make an application, regardless of CAO points. Applications must be made before 11am on 11 September to be considered for Round 3. See the CAO website for full details on how to apply.

Deferral Information
Every year when CAO offers are made, some students decide that, while they are happy with their offer, they don’t want to take up the course immediately and wish to apply for a Deferral.
In order to defer, an applicant must have been offered a place through CAO. Do not accept the CAO offer in the manner shown on the offer notice. Instead, complete the following form: 2025 CAO Year 1 Deferral Request Form. Please visit our Information Page for full details.
Commencing Your Studies
Before the academic year begins, we will email you again with more information about the practicalities of starting university and the support services available to you as a TU Dublin student. Our Getting Started page is packed full of useful information, and below we have highlighted some of the key details you will need to know.
Set Up Your TU Dublin Email Address
Firstly, please keep an eye out for an email from getonline@tudublin.ie with information about how to set up your TU Dublin email address. If you have any issues, watch this video for instructions on setting up your email.
Registration
TU Dublin is currently moving to a new student registration system, a major upgrade designed to make it easier for you to access essential student services. Invitations to Register (ITR) will be sent to full-time undergraduate students from 4 September. We anticipate that most students will receive their Invitation to Register email by mid-September, so please check your email account regularly.

Orientation & Class Commencement
Orientation for all first-year students will begin from Tuesday, 09 September, running until Friday, 12 September. Orientation is important because it will provide you with vital student support service information about TU Dublin resources and an outline of your course.

Classes will commence on Monday, 15 September, by which time you’ll be a fully fledged TU Dublin student.
