School of MPO Hosts Inaugural Alumni Speaker Series

The School of Management, People and Organisations Business Management programme at Technological University Dublin, Tallaght campus, recently hosted the inaugural session of its Alumni Speaker Series, welcoming back three distinguished graduates: Dr Dean Creevey (Maynooth University), John Byrne (UC Fit), and Ciarán O’Connor (Google).
The event brought together students from first, second, and third year, with a total of 46 students attending during the second session. The speakers shared valuable insights into their career journeys, reflecting on their time as TU Dublin students and highlighting the skills and experiences that contributed to their professional development.
Students responded very positively to the event, emphasising the practical value of hearing directly from graduates working across diverse sectors. One student noted that the session was “very insightful seeing where the degree can take us,” while another highlighted the opportunity to engage directly with speakers and gain meaningful advice.
The Alumni Speaker Series aims to strengthen the connection between current students and TU Dublin graduates, providing a platform for knowledge exchange, mentorship, and professional inspiration. The success of this inaugural event underscores the importance of integrating real-world perspectives into the student experience.
The Business Management programme extends its sincere thanks to all speakers for their time, openness, and willingness to support and inspire the next generation of business professionals.
