CMS User Account Application Form
For access to the TU Dublin Content Management System (CMS) - Terminal Four v8, users must undergo CMS training for the TU Dublin website. For users who previously used v7 Terminalfour on the DIT website, they must also complete the updated training module for version 8 to be set up with a CMS account.
Both moderators and contributors must have taken the Terminalfour - Adding, Modifying and Updating Web Content Introduction training delivered by People Development, as well as the CMS Website Best Practices Training in Astute. This will be available under Self-enrol at the end of the page.

The aim of this form is to ensure that TU Dublin website Moderators and Contributors understand the responsibilities associated with the role.
A website Contributor is authorised to add and edit but not approve or publish information on the TU Dublin website. A website Contributor is required to complete TU Dublin CMS Terminalfour v8 training.
A website Moderator is authorised to add, edit and approve, and publish information on the TU Dublin website. A website Moderator is required to complete the TU Dublin CMS Terminalfour v8 training.
Please read the following requirements and confirm that you understand and accept these.
- Each webpage must adhere to the TU Dublin brand guidelines, templates and writing for the web standards which are managed by the TU Dublin Communications and Marketing Office.
- No material should be published on the website that may be considered to infer or imply a forward-looking organisational design that is not, as yet fully approved by the Organisational Design Steering Committee.
- Editorial responsibility for webpages rests with content experts appointed by heads of function under the guidance from the Communications and Marketing Office.
- Contents must be inoffensive and legal, respecting both EU and national legislation, particularly copyright laws & Data Protection Legislation. Advertisements for commercial enterprises will not be permitted.
- All contents must comply with current HEAnet Acceptable Usage Policy.
- The TU Dublin Staff and Student Rules & Regulations will also apply to the use of the TU Dublin webspace.
- All contents must be of a high quality, in keeping with TU Dublin’s public image and meeting the same standards as other forms of TU Dublin published information.
- All webpages must adhere to the Cookies Notice & Website Privacy Policy. Each webpage must include the TU Dublin footer which includes a link to this policy.
- Both moderators and contributors must have taken the Terminalfour - Adding, Modifying and Updating Web Content Introduction training delivered by People Development, as well as the CMS Website Best Practices Training in Astute.
- Pages should only contain information relevant to TU Dublin activities.
- TU Dublin may amend or remove any page immediately if deemed inappropriate, without consultation.
- Any requests to change the Information Architecture (site navigation) must be made to the Communications and Marketing Office.
- TU Dublin Website Moderators and Contributors are required to have read and understood:
