The content management system (CMS) now uses Single Sign On (SSO) to access and VPN is not required if you are working remotely within EU, EEA, UK.
Please ensure that you are you using the following URL to login: https://cms.tudublin.ie/terminalfour/saml/login
This should bring you to the login page where you enter your TU Dublin email login credentials.
Note if you receive a 401 unauthorized error, please try the following steps:
- Have you tried to connect from incognito mode in your browser?
If you can login via an incognito mode it means that it is something cached that is preventing your access. We recommend that you try to clear your cache manually in your browser.
- Have you tried a different browser?
Test another browser to see if you can login.
If the above steps fail to get you access to the CMS, please contact Web Support.
For access to the TU Dublin CMS (Terminalfour v8), staff must undergo CMS training. For users who previously used Terminalfour v7 on the DIT website, they must also complete the updated training module for v8 in order to be set up with a CMS account.
People Development provide regular training sessions - register for CMS training.
Once the relevant training has been completed, staff can request CMS access by filling out the CMS User Account Application Form. You will then receive an email from the Web Team with login instructions.
A content management system (CMS) Contributor is authorised to add and edit but not approve or publish information on the TU Dublin website. A Contributor is required to completed the TU Dublin CMS Terminalfour v8 training.
A Moderator is authorised to add, edit and approve, and publish information on the TU Dublin website. A Moderator is required to complete both the TU Dublin CMS Terminalfour v8 training and the LinkedIn Learning Writing for the Web training. For queries in relation to LinkedIn Learning, contact Staff Development: staffdev.city@tudublin.ie.
Moderators and Contributors do not have access to create new pages in the CMS. New page requests can be sent to web@tudublin.ie and upon reviewing we will set these up for you.
If you need to create a new section on the website, you can fill out the Request a Website form and a member of the Web Team will be in touch to schedule the build.
Course page updates are managed by the Admissions team, contact courses@tudublin.ie.
If you need to access any of the legacy web pages, contact web@tudublin.ie.
Google Analytics reports can be downloaded on request. Email web@tudublin.ie with required dates and links.
Adobe Stock is available to staff members. There are free options available when you login using your TU Dublin Staff email address. If you would like to download a standard license of an image, contact brand@tudublin.ie, reference the image file number (FILE #: ?) which you will find beneath the image and we can download these for you. Please note that there is a limit of 4 image requests per staff member per day.
