I’m Rev. Nigel Mackey, and I’ve recently joined the Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy team at TU Dublin after 24 wonderful years serving as chaplain at Wesley College. Originally from Derry, I’m a graduate of the University of Ulster and Queen’s University, and I’ve spent much of my life walking alongside students and staff through moments of joy, challenge, and growth.

Faith and spirituality have always been central to my life and work. I’m passionate about how they can enrich our experiences and help us navigate life with purpose and hope. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding students through service projects like Habitat for Humanity, helping them grow as global citizens with hearts for justice and humility.

I’m delighted to be part of the TU Dublin community and look forward to journeying with students and staff during this semester and over the next few years.

I will be available each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am until 2pm.
