Microsoft Teams Rooms

Certain meeting spaces across all city campus have been turned into Microsoft Teams Room or MTRs. This means that TU Dublin Staff & Students can add an MTR as Contact to a Teams Meeting and use the room’s Microphones, dedicated Smart Webcam and Projector in conjunction with, or entirely without, a need for a PC/laptop. The functionality is identical to that of a regular Teams Meeting with the added benefit of the camera tracking features.

Interactive Booths

Throughout our TU Dublin City campuses there are a number of interactive spaces that allow anyone connect a device via HDMI or wirelessly with a Solstice Pod to a screen.

Solstice Pods

Solstice Pods are offer lecturers and students the ability to wirelessly share content from their devices.

Up to 6 devices can connect at once. This makes it ideal for group work. Solstice Pods are in every meeting and teaching space in Grangegorman and in specific spaces in Aungier and Bolton St. 

The Solstice App is available on Windows, Mac, Andriod and iOS

Room System Controls

Touch Screen Controls offer the same functionality as the push button controllers.

All teaching spaces have been upgraded to facilitate blended learning.
