LTA Affiliates
The LTA Affiliates are a team of staff recruited annually from the schools and faculties across the University. The affiliates provide vital insight, advice and support to the Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA) team and to their own colleagues throughout the academic year. The LTA Affiliates help the LTA Team to connect with the faculties, schools and staff across TU Dublin, enabling the work of the LTA Team to respond to the needs of staff in the University.
Throughout the academic year, each LTA Affiliate will:
- Advise and provide insights to the LTA team based on their experiences as a lecturer in TU Dublin.
- Showcase their own work at one or more of the events organised by the LTA team. This includes workshops, webinars and the LTA Showcase.
- Participate in at least two Conversations about Learning & Teaching (CsALT) sessions organised as HyFlex events – one to be held on each campus.
- Review or contribute to the development of an LTA online resource to support staff in the University.
- Attend and contribute to LTA Affiliate meet-ups throughout the year (in-person or online).
- Encourage colleagues and others in their own network to engage with activities organised in the University to enhance learning, teaching and assessment.
