Title: Drivers of the Degree of Professional Services Firms' Internationalisation in Ireland.
Preface: This study aims to examine the extent of expansion among professional services firms and the driving forces behind their success in Ireland. The factors to be examined include international reputation, artificial intelligence, formal institutions, and transferred knowledge. Furthermore, the research design provides a structured framework for the study, employing a quantitative methodology to analyse and establish correlations among various variables. To achieve this, a well-structured questionnaire will be formulated and distributed to managers of Professional Service Firms (PSFs) operating in Ireland, enabling the collection of quantitative data.
Objectives:
1. To deepen the understanding of the internationalisation degree of professional service firms (PSFs).
2. To explore the impact of key factors on this degree.
3. To examine the relationships between variables within the Irish context.
Contribution:
This research is anticipated to yield significant insights for both academics and business professionals aiming to enhance their understanding of the internationalisation dynamics of PSFs in Ireland.
Conference Participation:
A systematic literature review-based conference paper was submitted and presented at the Irish Academy of Management conference in August 2025 at Maynooth University. My PhD research was presented at the Doctoral Colloquium as part of the (IAM) Conference in August 2025 and 2024.
