Coordinated from our Tallaght location the school works closely with a number of Further Education Colleges to support the QQI FETAC Level 5 Engineering Technology Programme.

The Programme introduces Engineering Theory and Practical Skills and currently, the three colleges that closely engage with the School of Engineering are

Bray Institute of Further Education

Greenhills Community College

Deansrath Community College

The students visit the School of Engineering where they obtain support for the work with particular modules. The students also have the opportunity of working in the laboratories, using advanced facilities, and experience being part of the University. Upon completion of the FETAC Programme, many of the students progress to the Engineering Programmes within TU Dublin.
