At this stage, your support and guidance as a parent or guardian are vital, and we’re here to support you too.
We know you may have questions during the application process. Our Admissions Team is available to help every step of the way, from the initial application to your son or daughter's enrolment at TU Dublin.

Our Campuses and Facilities
TU Dublin has campuses in Dublin City Centre (Grangegorman, Aungier Street and Bolton Street) and also Blanchardstown and Tallaght. We are currently investing over €500 million in state-of-the-art, technology-enabled facilities to enhance the student experience.

Key Dates to Remember
It’s important to keep track of key dates in the CAO process. Full details are available on the CAO website, but here are the main ones:
- Standard application deadline: 1 February
- Late applications open: 5 March
- Final closing date for late applications: 1 May
- Change of mind closing date: 1 July
We will host Open Days during the CAO season, where you and your child can visit our campuses, meet lecturers and students, and learn more about life at TU Dublin. We also offer Online Information Events throughout the year and details of forthcoming events are available on our CAO Hub.
Tips for Applying
Students should take their time to research their course options carefully by attending open days, reading brochures and asking relevant questions in advance of applying.
We strongly encourage students to carefully complete their application in full by placing their course choices in genuine order of preference.
It is recommended to include Level 6/7 courses on the CAO application - not just Level 8 courses. Level 6/7 courses are a perfect progression pathway to Level 8 courses, often at lower points. Further details are available on our Progression Page.
